Our Mission

We’re so much more than just a party—we’re a community coming together for a cause. The 2026 Festival is a direct fundraiser dedicated to the revival and restoration of Bushkill Park.

The Music in the Park Festival & Fundraiser was born from a singular, powerful vision: to protect the historic heartbeat of Pennsylvania while nurturing the well-being of the people who call it home. Established in 1902, Bushkill Park and Grove in Easton, PA (Northampton County) is not just a collection of vintage attractions; it is a living sanctuary for community joy, offering enriching events that foster connection among people of all backgrounds and identities. Our mission is to ensure that this landmark continues “Making Memories Since 1902” by merging the preservation of our physical heritage with a modern commitment to mental health, emotional wellness, and the celebration of diverse love stories.

In a unique cross-county partnership, this initiative is powered by the professional expertise of Positive Peer Mentoring (PPM) and Inclusive Marriage Moments (IMM), both based in Sunbury, PA (Northumberland County). By bringing these two missions to the historic grounds of Bushkill Park, we are creating a holistic environment where "community" is a verb. With PPM, we prioritize accessible mental and emotional support, ensuring the festival is a safe and restorative space for all.

Through IMM, we are leading the charge to revitalize the Carousel Banquet Hall into a premier, inclusive sanctuary where every couple—regardless of background, identity, or faith—can begin their legacy in a place that has honored love for over a century.

We believe that a community that remembers its past is better equipped to care for its future. In light of recent challenges, we strive to adapt our initiatives, ensuring that as we gather to celebrate, we also recognize our shared resilience and support one another's mental and emotional needs. Following the successful restoration of the 1918 Hilarity Hall, our focus now turns to the Whip Building and the Carousel Banquet Hall.

Every ticket sold and every dollar donated serves a dual purpose: it stabilizes the structural integrity of a Pennsylvania icon and expands the reach of accessible therapy and inclusive ministerial services.

Together, we invite everyone to engage with us—by attending, volunteering, or contributing their talents—to build a future where history is preserved, every hero is honored, and love truly knows no limits.

Bushkill Park Holds Deep Historical Significance For The Local Community:

Bushkill Park and Grove has been a beloved community landmark in Easton, Pennsylvania, since it opened in 1902. For over 120 years, this historic amusement park has served as a central gathering place and recreational hub for generations of residents.

Established in the late 19th century, Bushkill Park was founded to provide a family-friendly destination for the people of Easton and the surrounding Lehigh Valley region. The park's scenic location along the banks of the Bushkill Creek, as well as its classic amusement rides, picnic groves, and other attractions, quickly made it a beloved summertime destination.

Over the decades, Bushkill Park has hosted countless community events, festivals, and celebrations that have brought people together. It has been the site of annual Fourth of July festivities, harvest festivals, and other seasonal celebrations, creating lasting memories for local families. The park's historic dance hall, picnic pavilions, and other vintage structures have witnessed a century's worth of community gatherings and social traditions.

Beyond just being a place of recreation, Bushkill Park has become deeply intertwined with the cultural identity and heritage of the Easton area. Its classic rides, such as the Whip and the Tilt-A-Whirl, have become iconic symbols of the community's past. The park's historic buildings and grounds represent an irreplaceable link to the region's history and a treasured community asset that must be preserved.

Restoring and revitalizing Bushkill Park is crucial for maintaining the community's sense of history, identity, and tradition. By investing in the preservation of this 120-year-old landmark, we can ensure that it continues to delight visitors and serve as a gathering place for the people of Easton for generations to come.

A LEGACY OF LOVE & RESILIENCE

"My great-grandparents met at Bushkill Park. My parents met here. I spent my childhood watching my father perform 'midnight maintenance' on these historic rides. This park is more than wood and iron; it is the physical home of my family’s history. We are here to ensure that your family can keep making those same memories for another hundred years."
