To show our deep gratitude to those who keep our community safe and healthy, Friday night is officially Healthcare Appreciation Night!

General Admission: $10.00 (Includes admission to early vendors, the DJ Battle, the half-time show, and unlimited roller skating!)

Skate Rental: $2.00 (Or bring your own clean skates!)

Healthcare Worker Discount: Take $3.00 OFF your admission! Simply present your employee badge or healthcare ID at the front gate. Thank you for your service!

⚔️ THE BATTLE FORMAT: HOW IT WORKS

No loud, overlapping, jumbled mess here! We are using a fast-paced, rotating showcase format so you can clearly experience and enjoy each artist's unique music, rhythm, and sound.

The 10-Minute Rotation: Each DJ will take full control of the sound system for a dedicated 10-minute set (playing music with or without lyrics) before passing the decks to the next DJ.

The Intermission (9:00 PM): The battle will temporarily pause at 9:00 PM for our legendary 80s Lip Sync Showcase halftime show!

The Final Mix: After the halftime show, the rotation continues with fresh tracks until voting closes at 9:45 PM.

The Aftermath (9:45 PM - 10:00 PM): Enjoy the final skate tunes of the evening as our staff secures the ballot box and gets ready to close the rink.

🗳️ PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTING: YOU ARE THE JUDGE!

To keep this event highly competitive and fundraiser-friendly, we are using a People's Choice points-based ballot instead of custom plastic tokens:

Grab Your Ballot: Upon entry, pick up a paper voting ballot at the main table.

Rank Your Favorites: Write down your Top 3 Favorite DJs of the night on your card (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place).

Submit Your Ballot: Drop your card in the official ballot box near the main rink entrance before 9:45 PM SHARP.

The Big Announcement: Points will be totaled from all ballots overnight. The winner will be announced LIVE on the main stage during the Saturday Morning Decades Karaoke Contest (doors open at 10:30 AM)!

The winning DJ takes home the ultimate bragging rights as the "Music in the Park Festival Fundraiser’s Favorite DJ 2026"!

Every single DJ, band, musician, and equipment/sound company participating this weekend is generously volunteering 100% of their time, professional talent, and heavy-duty gear to make this historic restoration fundraiser a success.

To show them our appreciation, we have set up a direct appreciation system:

DJ Tip Jars: Each performing DJ will have a personalized Tip Jar with their name on it stationed by the main stage.

All-Weekend Access: These jars will be out all weekend long! If a DJ's music kept you moving, show them your gratitude by placing cash tips directly into their jar. 100% of these tips go straight to the artists!

Visit the Vendor Stands: Don't forget to visit the DJs' designated vendor tables around the Carousel Hall to buy custom merch, grab business cards, and book them for your own future parties!
